Jennifer is an Advanced Practice Nurse with a National Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Heath Nurse Practitioner. She has been a nurse since 2002, and worked while getting her Bachelors from the University of Tennessee in 2008, then getting her Masters degree from the University of South Alabama in 2011. She is passionate about mental health among young adults, adolescents and children. She desires to improve lives and help everyone to realize their full ability to not only cope but to excel at life, work/school, and to be able to contribute to their own community. She has experience in all ages and fields, working in Acute care and ICU in the hospitals, acute inpatient care for psychiatric conditions with Adult and geriatric populations. She has worked in Intensive outpatient programs with adults and children. She has worked outpatient community health for over 10 years as well as a private practice setting. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, 9 year old triplets (2 boys and 1 girl), and 4 year old son. She enjoys volunteering for her community and schools which includes coaching recreation cheerleading. She has an identical twin sister who is also a nurse. Her main goal as a nurse practitioner is to treat all her clients with respect and dignity and compassion and to help in combatting the stigma of mental health to encourage others struggling to purse treatment.
